Deutsche Bank celebrates 40 years in Australia

Thursday August 29, 2013, is a significant milestone for Deutsche Bank in Australia, marking 40 years since Deutsche Bank first opened the doors of its representative office in Sydney.

Our advertisement published 40 years ago to the day in the Australian Financial Review said "Australia is no longer "Down under" for Deutsche Bank- it's now right on top," and promised to be "Your ideal local contact for immediate access to the German market as well as to the Bank’s worldwide network of professionals".

The Bank has evolved significantly since then, building a leading position across many businesses, creating best-in-class infrastructure and making a significant contribution to local society.

On behalf of the senior management team at Deutsche Bank in Australia, thank you to our employees and clients for your support. We look forward to our next 40 years together.
